Requirements for Membership
In order to become a member in training, you must meet the following requirements at the start of your MIT semester:
- Have a minimum overall GPA of 2.5
- Have completed or be currently enrolled in one music class, including Intro to Fine Arts or marching band
- Have completed one semester of study at Texas State University - transfer students and first semester freshmen may attend recruitment events, but may not pledge until at least one full semester has been completed.
- Have a sincere interest in music and be willing to uphold the ideals of Sigma Alpha Iota
